Strawberry Shortcake Cake

I made this cake for a friend's little girl. The picture isnt of the whole cake as it wouldnt let me
resize it to post it. The bottom of the cake is just a quarter sheet covered in buttercream and
sprinkles.... there is a bright pink shell border! This shows the Strawberry Shortcake part of the cake. I made her out of a sugar cookie covered in royal frosting and then stuck her in the
middle of a heart shaped cake made to look like a strawberry! She was lots of fun to make!

Fondant Present Cake - Class

Here is another cake we made in cake class... this is probably my favorite!
It is covered in fondant and the flowers and ribbon are made
out of fondant!

Trinket Box Cake - Class

This is one of the cakes we made in class. It is covered in fondant with a small
fondant trinket box on the top of it filled with daisys. Turned out really pretty!

Girl Scout Cake

I made this cake for my daughter's Girl Scout Troop Bridging Ceremony.
It was really warm in my house and the "face" outline didnt want to cooperate, but
I think it still turned out pretty good! This is the first cake I did on my own outside of
cake class!

Little Turkey Cake

My son promised his class I would make him a turkey cake for their Thanksgiving Feast - with the help of wilton.com I came up with this little guy! He is almost to cute to eat!!
Bottom layer is cake covered in buttercream ... turkey body is a cookie covered in chocolate buttercream and the feathers are made from Fondant.
